ELIGIBILITY: The SHEIN x Hangout 2024 Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes" ) is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and D.C. (excluding Florida, New York, and Rhode Island) who are 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers or directors of Roadget Business PTE. LTD. ( “Sponsor” ), AEG Presents LLC, and any of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, or any advertising or promotion agencies involved in this Sweepstakes (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities” ), as well as the immediate family and household members of each such person, are not eligible to participate. Void in Florida, New York, Rhode Island and where prohibited.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins on 05/01/2024 at 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on 05/06/2024 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (the “Sweepstakes Period” ). The Sponsor’s database computer is the official time-keeping device for this Sweepstakes.

HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes Period, log in to Instagram and (1) follow @shein_us, (2) like the Sweepstakes post, and (3) comment to the Sweepstakes post with a 🐚 emoji and tag your festival best friend.

Limit one (1) entry per person/Instagram account, regardless of number of comments. You must have an Instagram account to participate and your account must be public. Accounts are free. All entries are subject to Instagram’s terms of use. Any attempt to enter more than one (1) time via multiple names, email addresses, Instagram accounts, or any other means, may result in disqualification from this and any other promotional offerings from Sponsor. Use of any macro, bot, script or other automated means to submit entries is prohibited. Proof of posting is not proof of accessibility of the posting to Sponsor or anyone else. Each entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account associated with the entry or associated with the social media account used to enter. An “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the email address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the social media account used to enter.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: A random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period will be conducted on or about 05/07/2024 to select one (1) potential winner. Potential winner will be notified via Instagram direct message on or about 05/07/2024. No liability is assumed for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If a potential winner does not respond and/or does not return the Prize Claim Documents (as defined below) within two (2) days after the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Potential winner(s)/Guest(s) will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release ( “Prize Claim Documents” ). If a potential winner fails to comply with Sponsor’s requests for Prize Claim Documents, is found to be ineligible, or cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, he/she will be disqualified and prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. If any potential winner is a minor under the laws of his/her state of residence, at Sponsor’s option, the applicable prize either may be awarded in the name of parent or legal guardian of winner, or parent or legal guardian of winner may be required to ratify and sign all required documents.

PRIZE/ODDS: One (1) prize is available: a trip for two (2) persons to Gulf Shores, Alabama from 05/16/2024 to 05/20/2024 to coincide with the Hangout 2024 Music Festival currently scheduled to take place from 05/17/2024 through 05/19/2024 (herein also called the “Event”). Prize consists of: (a) round trip airline transportation (coach class) for winner and one (1) guest between major U.S. airport nearest winner’s residence and Gulf Shores, Alabama (Approximate Retail Value (ARV): up to $1,400), (b) lodging accommodations at a place selected by Sponsor in the Gulf Shores, Alabama area (consisting of one (1) double-occupancy, standard room or equivalent) for 5 days and 4 nights (ARV: up to $2,400), (c) rideshare gift card (ARV $500), and (d) 3-Day VIP admission passes for two (2) persons to Hangout 2024 on 05/17/24-05/19/24 (ARV: $3,496). Total ARV: up to $7,796; actual value may vary depending upon departure city and accommodations. Any difference between estimated value and actual value will not be awarded.

All transportation, lodging, meals, and other costs and expenses not otherwise identified herein are the responsibility of the winner. Ground transportation may be substituted for air transportation at Sponsor’s sole discretion if air travel is not required due to winner’s proximity to Gulf Shores, AL. Major credit card will be required at check-in to cover any incidental expenses. Winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary and must be able to travel on the dates specified above. Potential winner and travel companion will be required to sign any Prize Claim Documents prior to ticketing. Any person taking part in the trip who is a minor under the laws of his/her state of residence must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who also must execute all documents on behalf of the minor. Winner and travel companion must have all ID and other documents necessary for travel, including but not limited to any required vaccination or proof of negative COVID-19 testing. Stay and travel must be completed to coincide with the Event. If winner cannot travel on specified dates, an alternate winner may be selected. Dates are subject to change. No responsibility is assumed for cancellation or postponement of Event or any other events beyond Sponsor’s control. If Event is cancelled or postponed after travel arrangements are made, remainder of trip will be awarded as the complete prize. Prize is non-transferable and no cash equivalent or substitution of the prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor may substitute a prize of comparable value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with acceptance or use of any prize.

Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.

PRIZE CONDITIONS: Sponsor may conduct a background check to confirm eligibility and compliance with these rules. By entering, you agree to cooperate reasonably with any such background check. Failure to cooperate may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If a potential winner or potential guest has engaged in or does engage in any conduct that could damage the reputation or business of Sponsor, as determined by Sponsor in its discretion, the potential winner may be disqualified and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting. Each potential winner and potential guest must also comply with all requirements for proper and appropriate behavior during any prize-related activities or events, including but not limited to the Event. Any inappropriate behavior, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, may result in removal from any activity or event.

ADDITIONAL RULES: Acceptance of a prize constitutes each winner’s permission for Sponsor to use winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and address (city and state) for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further compensation except where prohibited by law. By participating, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. No responsibility is assumed for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, garbled, incomplete or illegible entries, all of which are void; (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, mobile device, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's mobile device related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any promotion it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) suspend, modify or terminate the Sweepstakes if Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, that malfunction, error, disruption or damage is impairing or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. Any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, may be disqualified, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Only the type and quantity of prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded. If, for any reason, more bona fide winners come forward seeking to claim prizes in excess of the number of each type of prize set forth in these Official Rules, the winners, or remaining winners, as the case may be, of the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question may be selected in a random drawing from among all persons making purportedly valid claims for such prize(s). Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other unintended circumstances have impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner(s) in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries unaffected by the problem. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (and if you are a minor, your parent or legal guardian) agree that the Sweepstakes Entities (a) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, acceptance, awarding, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, participation in the trip, or attending the Event and (b) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose.
Nothing in these Official Rules limits or excludes the liability of the Sponsor for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Sponsor.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, you further agree that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (b) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to reasonable and actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorney's fees; and (c) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain any award for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, indirect or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for reasonable and actual out-of-pocket expenses. These rules and any disputes relating hereto are governed by the internal laws of the State of California without regard to principles of conflicts of laws, and by entering, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in Los Angeles County, California or resolution of any disputes relating to the Sweepstakes and waive any objection thereto. For New Jersey Residents: Nothing herein prohibits recovery of damages or attorneys’ fees where required by statute.

WINNER NAMES: For a list of winners, available approximately two weeks after the end of the Sweepstakes Period, send a written request to the Sponsor, via electronic mail to [email protected] , with “SHEIN x Hangout Sweepstakes” in the subject line. All such requests must be received by 06/30/2024.
