ELIGIBILITY: The SHEIN X Artist Home Is Where The He(art) Is Contest ( "Contest" ) is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. Employees and directors of Roadget Business PTE LTD. ( "Sponsor" ) or any of its parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising, promotion, or production agencies (and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members and individuals residing in their same household) (collectively, the "Contest Entities" ) are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply.

CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins on 3/15/2022 at 12:00:01 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on 4/15/2022 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (the "Contest Period" ).

HOW TO ENTER: During the Contest Period, visit https://us.shein.com (“Website”) and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the entry form and submit a digital copy of your original artwork illustrating the theme of your hometown, highlighting the city or town where you grew up.

Limit one (1) entry per person/email address. Additional entry attempts from the same person or email address will be disqualified. Entrants are prohibited from using multiple names, email addresses, or other means to enter more than once. Any attempt to do so is grounds for disqualification. Use of any macro, bot, script or other automated means to submit entries is prohibited. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. Sponsor's database computer is the official time-keeping device for the Contest. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Submissions must be: one digital file of your original artwork illustrating the theme of this contest (your hometown) in either pdf, jpeg or png format, with a minimum resolution of 300 pixels and maximum file size of 100MB, titled with your first and last name.

In addition, all submissions must: (a) be the exclusive original work of the entrant; (b) be in keeping with the Sponsor’s image, (c) not defame or invade publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon the rights of any person or entity, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity, (d) not contain any commercial/corporate advertising, including but not limited to corporate logos, brand names, and slogans, other than Sponsor’s, in a manner that could be deemed infringing; and (e) not depict any conduct or content that is unsafe, immoral, obscene or otherwise inappropriate as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion. Failure to meet any of the requirements above, or to otherwise comply with these Official Rules, may result in disqualification of the submission.

PUBLICITY/USAGE RIGHTS: By entering, you warrant and represent that your Submission has been created by you as an original work and that all required third-party releases (if any) have been obtained in writing, and you further agree acknowledge and agree that Sponsor (and those acting with its authorization) may copy, reproduce, edit, broadcast and otherwise use your Submission in any way in any medium whether now existing or later discovered, worldwide, in perpetuity, including but not limited to posting online on Sponsor’s social media pages, without consideration to you. Sponsor reserves the right to delete, blur, or remove any inappropriate content from a submission without disqualifying the entry where, in Sponsor’s determination, such change does not materially alter the submission and the person submitting the submission has otherwise attempted in good faith to comply with these Official Rules. Winners agree to irrevocably assign and transfer to the Sponsor any and all rights, title and interest in their winning submission including, without limitation, all copyrights and waive all moral rights.

By entering, you warrant and represent that (i) all statements made in the submission process are true, accurate, and complete; (ii) the Submission has not been and will not be assigned or transferred to another party; (iii) no licenses to the submission has or will be granted; (iv) the submission is and will remain free from any and all other encumbrances of whatever kind or nature; (v) the submission is unique to you and was created solely by you and no one else has any right, title, or interest in and to the submission and its contents (other than any co-submitters); and (vi) nothing in your submission infringes or violates any patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, or other right of any other party.

Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest and/or receipt or use of any prize further constitutes the winner’s consent for use of his/her name, likeness, voice, opinions, statements, biographical information, and/or hometown and state for promotional or advertising purposes in any media, worldwide, now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further review, notification, payment, or consideration (unless prohibited by law).

JUDGING/WINNER SELECTION: All eligible submissions during the Contest Period will be evaluated by a panel of judges using the following criteria to determine a maximum of up to 100 finalists to be posted on the Website for public voting: creativity and originality, quality of submission; and best expression of the theme. Fewer than 100 finalists may be selected if insufficient qualified entries are received. Judges' decisions are final and binding.

Public Voting . During the period from approximately 5/05/2022 at 12:00:01 a.m. PT, and ends on 5/20/2022 at 11:59:59 p.m. PT (“Judging Period”), members of the public who have a free SHEIN account will have the opportunity to cast votes on the Website among the posted finalists on which they think is best. See details to create a free SHEIN account at https://us.shein.com/user/auth/login?direction=nav . Exact times and instructions for voting will be posted on the Website. Limit one (1) vote per person/SHEIN account per day. A “day” is defined as 24 hours within your time zone. Use of script, macro or any device to automate voting, hiring outsourced vote-farming services, paying for votes, or engaging in any other conduct deemed inappropriate, disruptive or unsportsmanlike as determined by Sponsor in its discretion, is prohibited, and any entries or votes received through such means will be void. Any attempt by any voter or entrant to submit or solicit more than the stated number of votes by using multiple/different SHEIN accounts, email addresses, identities, or any other method will void that person’s votes and entry (if any), and he/she may be disqualified from further voting or other participation in the Contest.

Winner Selection : From among the finalists, the judges will select up to ten (10) winners on or about 5/29/2022 applying the following criteria: creativity and originality; quality of submission; best expression of the theme; and public appeal, for which the public voting may be considered as a factor by the judges in their discretion. Judges' decisions are final and binding.

WINNER NOTIFICATION: Each potential winner will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of entry on or about 5/30/2022. No liability is assumed for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. Failure to respond to any winner notification within three (3) days may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. Each winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release (where legal) (“Prize Claim Documents”) and, if selected to participate in the SHEIN X Artist program, a design contract for the SHEIN X Artist program. No guarantee or promise is made that any winner will receive a design contract or become part of the SHEIN X Artist program. If any potential eligible winner is not of legal age of majority in his or her place of residence, at Sponsor’s option, the prize either may be awarded in the name of parent or legal guardian of winner, or parent or legal guardian of winner may be required to ratify and sign all Prize Claim Documents. If a potential winner fails to comply with Sponsor’s requests for Prize Claim Documents, is found to be ineligible, or cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, he/she may be disqualified and prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.

PRIZES: Up to Ten (10) Prizes are available: $1,000, plus the opportunity to be considered for a design contract in the new SHEIN X Artist program.

Prizes are non-transferable and no cash equivalent or substitution of the prize is offered, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Sponsor may substitute a prize or component of comparable value if advertised prize becomes unavailable. Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with acceptance or use of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify this Contest in the event an insufficient number of submissions are received that meet the minimum eligibility or judging criteria.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: You agree that the Contest Entities (a) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity, or from acceptance, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (b) have not made any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize’s quality or fitness for a particular purpose.

By entering the Contest, you further agree that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Contest, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (b) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to reasonable and actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest, but in no event attorney's fees; and (c) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain any award for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, indirect or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for reasonable and actual out-of-pocket expenses. These rules and any disputes relating hereto are governed by the internal laws of the State of California without regard to principles of conflicts of laws, and by entering, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in California for resolution of any disputes relating to the Contest and waive any objection thereto. For New Jersey residents, the limitations set forth above are inapplicable where attorneys’ fees, court costs, or other damages are mandated by statute.

ADDITIONAL RULES: No responsibility is assumed for any damage to your mobile device or computer system which is occasioned by participating in the Contest, or for any computer system, mobile device, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, no responsibility is assumed for incomplete, illegible, misdirected, misprinted, forged, tampered with, altered, late, lost, damaged, or stolen submissions, prize notifications or other Contest materials, all of which are void; or for lost, interrupted, inaccessible or unavailable networks, servers, satellites, Internet service providers, websites, or other connections; or for miscommunications, failed, jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected computer, telephone or cable transmissions; or for any technical malfunctions, failures, difficulties or other errors of any kind or nature; or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information.

Any individual who is found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules, or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to disrupt or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest, or to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person, may be disqualified, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Contest is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other unintended circumstances have impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Contest as contemplated herein. If the Contest is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries unaffected by the problem.
