1. Our commitment to Accessibility
At SHEIN, we are committed to making our digital platforms accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We continuously work to improve the accessibility, usability, and compatibility of our websites, mobile applications, and related digital services.
Our accessibility efforts are designed to support alignment with applicable accessibility requirements, including:
● The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882), as implemented under applicable national laws in the EU Member States where our services are offered.
● The harmonised standard EN 301 549
● The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 / 2.2, Level AA, with ongoing consideration of relevant WCAG updates.
This policy has two purposes: (1) it discloses our current conformance status and known limitations (Sections 4 and 8), and (2) it explains the accessibility features available on SHEIN digital platforms and how to use them (Sections 6–7).
2. Service Provider and Statement Information
Service provider: Infinite Styles Services Co, Ltd with registered addressThe Sidings, 4th Floor, Grand Canal Quay, Dublin 2, D02 E7K8, Ireland
Contact for accessibility matters: Customer Service platform .
Statement using the following assessment method: internal accessibility audits.
Testing has been carried out across the following environments:
● Operating systems: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android
● Browsers: Chrome, Safari
● Assistive technologies: JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack
This statement is reviewed at least annually and whenever significant changes are made to the service. It was last reviewed on 23rd July 2026.
3. Scope of this Policy
This policy applies to SHEIN digital services, including:
● SHEIN websites accessed through desktop or mobile browsers.
● SHEIN mobile applications.
● SHEIN mobile web or progressive web app experiences, where available.
● Key digital shopping functions, including browsing, product information, account settings, cart, checkout, customer support access, and related service information.
Some features described in this policy may vary depending on the country or region, device type, operating system, browser, app version, or technical availability.
4. Conformance Status
Based on internal audits, this website and mobile application are conformant with WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 Level AA and with EN 301 549 aside from one item that is considered Partially Conformant. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard, as detailed below.
4.1 Known Accessibility Barriers
Dynamic content and Font Size
● In a limited number of non‑core service scenarios, text cannot be reliably enlarged to 200% without loss of readability or layout because interface constraints enforce a fixed font format. These constraints also prevent letter‑spacing and other typographic adjustments that help preserve legibility at larger sizes.
We are actively working to remediate these issues as part of an ongoing conformity programme, prioritised by user impact. This list is reviewed and updated as issues are resolved or newly identified.
5. Important Notice on Device, Browser, and OS Dependency
SHEIN's accessibility features are designed to work with your device's built-in accessibility technology whenever possible. The availability, performance, and behaviour of certain accessibility features may depend on the following factors:
For the best experience, we recommend that you:
● Keep your device operating system updated.
● Keep your SHEIN app updated to the latest available version.
● Use an up-to-date browser.
● Ensure that your preferred assistive technology is enabled and correctly configured.
This dependency on user devices does not change our own obligations: the conformance status and remediation commitments in Section 4 apply to SHEIN's own implementation, regardless of the device used to access it.
6. How to Access Accessibility Settings
SHEIN provides accessibility controls that allow users to adjust certain features according to their needs. These controls are designed to work together with your device's native accessibility settings.
On the SHEIN App or Mobile Web
Go to: Personal Center → Settings → Accessibility
On Desktop Web
Go to: Personal Center → Accessibility
The Accessibility entry may appear on the left sidebar, including under the policies or settings section, depending on your device, screen size, and platform layout.
Note: Menu names, placement, and display may vary depending on your device type, screen resolution, operating system, browser, and app version.
7. Key Accessibility Features and How to Use Them
7A. Pop-up and Message Control
What this feature does: Allows certain alerts, tooltips, pop-up messages, dialogues, and popovers to remain visible for longer, so users have enough time to read and understand them.
How to enable it: Go to Personal Center → Settings → Accessibility → Pop-up and Message Control, then toggle the setting to On.
When enabled, eligible messages remain visible until you close them manually, tap or click outside the message area (where supported), or take another action that moves you to the next step or screen.
You can close messages by selecting the clear “X” or Close button, or by tapping or clicking outside the message area, where available.
Some system-level alerts and notifications are controlled by your device operating system rather than by SHEIN — for example, Android's “Time to take action” setting, or iOS system accessibility and notification settings, may affect display timing.
7B. Dynamic Text Sizing
What this feature does: Supports dynamic text scaling to help users with low vision or reading preferences. Where technically supported, text can scale up to 200% while maintaining readability and page structure.
You usually do not need to change a setting inside the SHEIN app — SHEIN is designed to respond to your device's font size settings or browser zoom settings.
On iOS or Android: Go to Settings → Accessibility → Display & Text Size, then increase the font or display size. The SHEIN app should automatically reflect supported changes.
On desktop web: Use your browser's zoom feature (Windows: Ctrl + ⊕; macOS: Cmd + ⊕). You may increase zoom up to 200%, depending on your browser and device settings.
Text scaling depends on your operating system, browser, and device settings. If your device or browser does not support font scaling, or does not transmit font-scaling preferences to the SHEIN platform, text may not enlarge as expected. If you significantly enlarge text, SHEIN may display a notice explaining that the page layout has been adjusted to support accessibility.
7C. High Colour Contrast
What this feature does: Improves readability by increasing the contrast of text, buttons, borders, promotional labels, and other important interface elements.
SHEIN aims to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA contrast guidance, including:
| Content type | Target minimum contrast |
| Normal text | 4.5:1 |
| Large text and essential UI components (18pt+, or 14pt+ bold) | 3:1 |
How to enable it: Enable high contrast or increased contrast in your device or desktop operating system settings — for example, Increase Contrast on iOS/macOS, High Contrast Mode on Windows, or display/accessibility contrast settings on Android. Where supported, SHEIN will detect these settings and adjust visual elements accordingly.
This feature depends on your operating system and browser communicating contrast preferences to SHEIN. If automatic detection is not supported, you may still improve visibility by manually adjusting device display settings, browser appearance settings, monitor brightness/contrast, or operating system colour/theme settings.
7D. Screen Orientation Lock
What this feature does: Allows users to choose a preferred screen orientation within the SHEIN app, such as portrait or landscape view. This may be helpful for users whose devices are mounted to wheelchairs, stands, or other fixed supports, or for users who prefer a specific viewing orientation.
How to use it: Go to Personal Center → Settings → Accessibility → Screen Orientation, then choose Portrait or Landscape.
Changing screen orientation may reload the page. Before the change takes effect, SHEIN may display a confirmation notice such as: “Switching screen orientation will reload the page. Any unsaved review progress may be lost.” Please save or complete any important activity before changing the orientation setting.
Device-level rotation locks controlled by your operating system may override SHEIN's in-app orientation setting. For example, if your phone's system rotation lock is enabled, SHEIN may not be able to change the app orientation until you change the device-level setting.
7E. Screen Readers and Keyboard Navigation
Screen readers: SHEIN mobile applications are designed to work with native screen readers, including VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android).
SHEIN works to provide meaningful labels and descriptions for key interface elements, including product images, buttons, form fields, navigation controls, promotional banners, and cart/checkout actions. Where appropriate, SHEIN uses alternative text, accessibility labels, and ARIA attributes to help screen readers communicate page content and available actions.
Keyboard navigation: On desktop web, users can navigate many parts of the SHEIN website using a keyboard:
● Press Tab to move to the next interactive element.
● Press Shift + Tab to move to the previous interactive element.
● Press Enter or Space to activate selected buttons or links, where supported.
SHEIN also provides visible focus indicators so users can identify the currently selected element while navigating menus, product listings, forms, and checkout pages.
Screen reader and keyboard behaviour depends on your operating system, browser, active screen reader or assistive technology, device and keyboard settings, and the version of the SHEIN app or website you are using. Please ensure that your assistive technology (VoiceOver, TalkBack, NVDA, or JAWS) is enabled and configured correctly in your system settings.
8. European Accessibility Act Compliance and Support Services
In accordance with applicable accessibility requirements under the European Accessibility Act and related national implementing laws, SHEIN works to provide accessible digital services and support. Our current conformance status and known limitations are disclosed in Section 4; this section describes the supporting services available to users.
Accessible service and product information
SHEIN aims to provide important service information — including product details, account information, checkout steps, customer support access, and policy information — in clear digital formats that are compatible with commonly used assistive technologies.
Accessible support services
SHEIN customer support services are intended to assist users, including users with disabilities, through accessible communication channels where available.
Alternative accessible formats
If you need this policy, SHEIN terms, service information, or other important documents in an alternative accessible format, you may contact us using the details in Section 9. Alternative formats may include, where reasonably available:
● Large-print text.
● Simplified text.
● Screen-reader-friendly electronic documents.
● Electronic formats compatible with braille display technology.
Availability may depend on the type of document, technical feasibility, applicable legal requirements, and the nature of the request.
9. Feedback, Support, and Contact Information
We are continually improving the accessibility of SHEIN digital services. If you experience an accessibility barrier or need help using any accessibility feature, please contact us.
To help us investigate and resolve the issue efficiently, please include:
● Where the issue occurred — for example, the web page address, app screen, product page, checkout step, or account section.
● What happened — a brief description of the accessibility issue or barrier.
● Your device and software information — device type, operating system, browser or app version, and any assistive technology used.
Contact us: through the Customer Service Portal, available through the Customer Service link on SHEIN homepages and within the SHEIN app.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback as soon as reasonably possible and in any case within the legally applicable timeframe and to provide a substantive resolution or update within a reasonable timeframe and in any case within the legally applicable timeframe.
SHEIN will review accessibility feedback and use it to support ongoing improvements to our digital services.
10. Enforcement Procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the accessibility enforcement authority designated in your country of residence. Because the European Accessibility Act is enforced independently by each EU Member State, the responsible authority and procedure vary by country.

| France | Direction générale de la Concurrence, de la Consommation et de la Répression des Fraudes (DGCCRF) | SignalConso — dedicated public reporting channel: https://signal.conso.gouv.fr |
11. Ongoing Conformity and Review
SHEIN maintains internal procedures to monitor, test, and progressively improve accessibility conformance across the website and app, including accessibility review gates in the development lifecycle, periodic third-party audits, and staff training.
This policy, including the conformance status in Section 4, is reviewed and updated at least annually, and whenever significant changes are made to the service.
