ELIGIBILITY: The SHEIN “Like” To Win Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw” ) is open to those who are 21 years of age or older. Employees, officers, or directors of the Sponsor, or any of its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, or any advertising or promotion agencies involved in this Prize Draw (collectively, the “Prize Draw Entities” ), as well as the immediate family and household members of each such person, are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited.
PRIZE DRAW PERIOD: The Prize Draw begins on 26 February 2024 at 11:00:00 a.m. Arabia Standard Time ( "AST" ), and ends on 6 March 2024 at 11:00:00 a.m. AST (the “Prize Draw Period” ). The Sponsor’s database computer is the official time-keeping device for the Prize Draw.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Prize Draw Period, log in to your SHEIN User Account on the SHEIN App or Site and (1) locate the theme post, and (2) click “like” button to vote for your favorite items.
Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of number of “like” you click. However, if the you revokes all your ”like(s)”and do not “re-like” any item, you will be not qualified to enter this Prize Draw.
You must be logged into your SHEIN User Account on the SHEIN App to participate in the Prize Draw. If you have not yet downloaded the SHEIN App or created a SHEIN User Account, you may download the SHEIN App on a mobile device for free and create a free SHEIN User Account. https://ar.shein.com/user/auth/login?from=navTop . Use of any macro, bot, script or other automated means to submit entries is prohibited. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt. Sponsor's database computer is the official time-keeping device for the Prize Draw. Entries will not be acknowledged or returned. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the social media account used to post the entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address or other similar account associated with the relevant social media account.
DRAWING AND WINNER NOTIFICATION: Random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Prize Draw Period will be conducted on or about 7 March 2024, to select fourteen (14) potential winners. Potential winners will be notified via SHEIN In-App Message (Push) on or about 11 March 2024. No liability is assumed for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If a potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules, fails to comply with Sponsor’s requests for Prize Claim Documents, or declines a prize for any reason prior to award, such potential winner will be disqualified, and an alternate winner may be selected. Additionally, if a potential winner does not respond within fifteen (15) days after the first notification attempt, if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected. Upon disqualification and/or prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Potential winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and a Publicity Release (“Prize Claim Documents”). If any potential winner is a minor under the laws of his/her state of residence, at Sponsor’s option, the applicable prize either may be awarded in the name of parent or legal guardian of winner, or parent or legal guardian of winner may be required to ratify and sign all required documents.
PRIZE AND ODDS:
Totally fourteen (14) prizes are available, consisting of,
a)first prize (the “First Prize”) for 1 winner. The winner will win (i)a SHEIN Gift Card worth $5,000 with no expiration date; and (ii)an invitation to SHEIN's mega private event acompanied with one round-trip flight tickets and one night accommodation in a five-star hotel.
b)second prize (the “Second Prize”) for 3 winners, each will win (i)a SHEIN Gift Card worth $2,000 with no expiration date; and (ii)two invitations to SHEIN's mega private event but no flight ticket and hotel accommodation will be provided.
c)third prize (the “Third Prizes”) for 10 winners, each will win a SHEIN Gift card worth $500 with no expiration date.
The prize “Invitations to SHEIN’s mega private event” will be informed and delieved on or about 21 March 2024 via email in the form of online invitation card. The accompanied flight tickets and hotel accommodation will be communicated and provided privately in consideration of the protection of the privacy.The prize Gift Cards will be delivered on or about 21 March 2024 via In-app Direct Message in the form of a gift card code usable at https://ar.shein.com/.
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternative or prize substitution will be allowed, except as described in the next sentence. A substitute prize of comparable or greater value may be awarded if the prize listed becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Sponsor’s control. Each winner is responsible for all taxes and for any other fees or costs associated with acceptance or use of any prize. Limit one (1) prize per person/household. Unless otherwise provided under the laws governing these Official Rules, or expressly stated in writing in connection with the distribution of the prize, all prizes are awarded “as is” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).
PARTICIPATION: By entering the Prize Draw, you (i) agree to be bound by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Prize Draw judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Prize Draw. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. No responsibility is assumed, unless due to a breach of Sponsor’s obligations or due to Sponsor’s fraud, gross negligence or willful misconduct, for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged, garbled, incomplete or illegible entries, all of which are void; (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, mobile device, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by Sponsor on account of technical problems; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile device related to or resulting from participating in the Prize Draw. Sponsor reserves the right to: (i) permanently disqualify from any Prize Draw it sponsors any person it believes has intentionally violated these Official Rules; and (ii) suspend, modify or terminate the Prize Draw if Sponsor believes, in its sole discretion, that malfunction, error, disruption or damage is impairing or will impair the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Prize Draw and/or as a result of the laws governing these Official Rules . If the Prize Draw is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner from all eligible, non-suspect entries unaffected by the problem.
PUBLICITY/USAGE RIGHTS: To the extent permitted by the laws governing these Official Rules, by participating in the Prize Draw, you acknowledge and agree that Sponsor (and those acting with its authorization) may distribute your Instagram handle and have the non-exclusive, sub-licensable, and assignable right to copy, reproduce, edit, broadcast and otherwise use your Comment in whole or in part, in any way, in any medium whether now existing or later discovered, worldwide, during the maximum period of time permitted by the applicable law, including but not limited to posting online. Participation in the Prize Draw and/or receipt or use of any prize further constitutes the winners’ consent for use of his/her Comment, name, likeness, voice, opinions, statements, biographical information, and/or hometown and state for promotional or advertising purposes, by Sponsor and/or on behalf of Sponsor, in any media, worldwide, now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity, without further review, notification, payment, or consideration (unless prohibited by law).
Release OF LIABILITY: To the extent allowed by the laws governing these Official Rules, by participating in the Prize Draw, you release Sponsor and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, employees, directors, employees, agents, advertising agencies, and all others associated with the development and execution of this Prize Draw from and against any and all injury, loss or damage caused or claimed to be caused by your participation in the Prize Draw and/or the acceptance, awarding, receipt, use and/or misuse of the prize, and you agree that these entities are not responsible for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relating to the promotion and/or the awarding of any prize except as expressly provided in these Official Rules. Nothing in these Official Rules limits or excludes the liability of the Sponsor for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Sponsor or for damage directly caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct of Sponsor. To the extent permitted by the laws governing these Official Rules, you further agree that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Prize Draw, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (b) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Prize Draw, but in no event attorney’s fees; (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for actual out-of-pocket expenses; and (d) these Rules and all disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to principles of conflicts of laws, any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and you expressly consent to the jurisdiction of said courts and waive any objection thereto.
WINNER LIST/OFFICIAL RULES: For a list of winners, available approximately two weeks after the end of the Prize Draw Period, send a written request to the Sponsor, via electronic mail to
[email protected] , with “SHEIN [Like To Win PRIZE DRAW]” in the subject line. All such requests must be received by 6 June 2024.
If one or more provisions of these Official Rules shall be found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Official Rules shall not be affected in any way thereby.
